This is a cute middle grade graphic novel. It is the second book of this series. The first book is called Sheets. I loved the pictures in this book. The first book talked about the death of a parent and this one ones talks about bullying. It isn't what you call a normal bullying but it still is. How the girl from the first book comes to realize that being quite and not saying anything is just as bad as doing it. It is a great way to get a point across. I gave it 5 stars.

Little House Readathon TBR

This is my TBR for the Little House Readathon that starts tomorrow and runs until the 10th. Again sorry about the photo. I lost the photo that I had on my computer and had to get this from my phone and it didn't transfer over right. Also my cat decided she needed to be in the picture.

This readathon is only four days long and I want to be able to read as many books about Laura Ingalls Wilder as I can. Down below I will have the announcement video about this readathon.

Now for the books I will try to read in four days.

The group book is Let The Hurricane Roar or Young Pioneers by: Rose Wilder Lane.  My copy is called Let The Hurricane Roar and it will be a reread for me.

I will also be rereading The Long Winter and These Happy Golden Years both by Laura Ingalls Wilder. These books are also my Historathon TBR. This will finish my reread of the series.

A Wilder Rose By: Susan Wittig Albert is about Rose and I haven't read this book and don't know anything else about it.

Little House In The Hollywood Hills by: Charlotte Stewart is based on the actress who played Miss Beadle from the TV series.

The last book I hope to get to is a quick read and that is Laura Ingalls Wilder by: Leslie Strudwick.

I just wanted to read books that I didn't own but I was able to check them out from my library. I will most likely purchase these soon to add to my collection.

Are you planning on joining in and if you are what will you be reading?

Until next time keep reading.

Historathon TBR

Here is my TBR for the Historathon for the month of February. Sorry about the photo, but at least you can see the titles of the books.

This readathon goes for the entire month of February. There are nine challenges and I chose a book for each one even though this is a busy for me. If  I don't get them all read I will be able to double up on most of them. Now for the challenges and the books I chose for each one.

A book set in a place you have visited: I have decided to reread the book These Happy Golden Years by: Laura Ingalls Wilder. This past summer I went to DeSmet, SD to visit the Little House

A Multi-generational book: I have decided to read The Vanishing Half by: Brit Bennet. I don't know anything about this book except that it won the Book of the Month book of the year.

Book about a war that is not WWII: I picked The Fountains of Silence by: Ruta Sepetys. This was last years group book and I never got it read. This is about the Spanish war.

A book by a diverse author: I will be reading Under a Painted sky by: Stacy Lee. This book is also about the second world war.

Group book: The Yellow Bird Sings by: Jennifer Rosner. I don't know anything about this book

A historical fiction Sub-Genre: I will be buddy reading this book with my daughter Tara and that book is The Diviners by: Libba Bray. This book is set in New York in the 1920's

A book with no people on the cover: I will be reading Between the shades of Grey by: Ruta Sepetys.  Again another book set during WWII.

A book set in winter: I will be rereading  the book The Long Winter by: Laura Ingalls Wilder.

A book with  a person's name in the title: I will be reading Sophia's War by: Avi This book is about the Revolutionary War.

It is already the fourth of February and I haven't even started reading any of these. Two will be read soon because I am using them in another readathon that starts on the 7th and ends on the 10th. That TBR will be up tomorrow hopefully.

Are you joining this readathon and if you are what are reading. I enjoy historical fiction and I am always keeping an eye out for new ones. Even better if they involve other wars not  based on WWII.

Until next time keep reading.
