Ricochet Review

This is one of my favorite Authors. I love reading her books.

This book is about a Detective in the Police Force. His name is Duncan Hatcher and he holds a grudge against Judge Cato Laird. The reason he holds this grudge is because he always let one  particular criminal go free. Detective Hatcher and his partner Deedee are called to the Judge's home one night because of a shooting. They question the Judge and his wife, Elise, about the shooting. Elise is very vague on her answers and they keep going back to question her and to examine the scene of the crime..

There are some twist and turns in this that I think you will enjoy. She does her research well so can give you great insight into the topic. She describes how the police have a very fine line they have to stay within and it can be hard for them sometimes. Also one lie can lead another and another where it is hard to remember what you told and in the end it will catch up to you.

If you like mysteries I would recommend this book plus more of her books for you to read.
